Victoria reluctantly agrees to defend Vincent, her old friend who is accused of attempting to murder his girlfriend, and hires Sam, loser she successfully defended in court, to be her au pair boy.

  • Review

A new feature film by Justin Trie, known for Age of Panic(2013). This film is a comedy a story of a woman who has been tested publicly and privately. Victoria is a lawyer who is a workaholic and a sex-addict. She is seeing her ex-husband David, Sam the intern-babysitter-former-drug-dealer and her loser friend Vincent at the same time. Distracted from all the pressure around her, she is just about to explode. Though In Bed with Victoria has the appearance of a typical Hollywood romantic comedy, it deviates from cliche. It depicts the meltdown process and restoration of sanity in a cheerful tone. The film is close to a classic screwball comedy. Series of situations toss and turns in In Bed with Victoria and dramatizes the whole commotion. It is a social conscience film with a tight script, elegant mise-en-scene, and creative humor.
