Review
Seven teenagers are having a loud party. As everyone becomes involved with drugs and sex, they start playing the board game ´Game of Death.´ It begins as a joke, but then one friend dies a gruesome death. The real ´Game of Death´ has begun. Will they risk their friendship for their own survival? Promoted as the ‘More twisted Jumanji(1995) and Natural Born Killers(1994)’, Game of Death is a mixture of a splatter film, a snuff film, a teenage horror, a computer game, and a smartphone image. Like Battle Royale(2000), everyone points a gun at each other to survive. This adds visual and auditory senses to the horror film. The film is filled with gore and also follows the classic teenage horror film where punishment comes when their reckless behavior goes too fqr. A definite hit for the midnight cinema audience.
